Behind the scenes photos from our Ethical workshop in India

Lunch time! The workshop is built in the middle of the village so the women can walk home for lunch.
I've been busy updating our facebook page this weekend, uploading images from our new range of Marzipants (thai fisherman trousers / thai fisherman pants) & adding a video that I made last year of the workshop where our trousers are made. Whilst trawling through the hundreds of photos that I took during my 3 months in India earlier this year, I found a few behind the scenes shots that I wanted to share with you. [caption id="attachment_556" align="aligncenter" width="717"] Shanaj would sometimes bring her nephew into the workshop so her sister could go out to work. Ashok (who runs the factory) is happy for the women to bring their children).[/caption] [caption id="attachment_553" align="aligncenter" width="614"] Nagma loved posing in my sunglasses. When I left I gave them to her & she gave me a beautiful pair of earings.[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_554" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Apparently it's far too embarrassing when I take pictures![/caption] I had such a wonderful time working out there with Ashok, Lakshmi, Nagma and the rest of the gang & I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss them.  To find out more about the people who make our trousers, please visit our website where you can read individual stories & see more pictures.
