[caption id="attachment_424" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="image courtesy of http://www.indovacations.net/"] [/caption] It's Holi (the festival of colour) in India today.  Everyone buys powdered paint & then later on today, there's a huge paint fight on the beach where you "bless" each other by covering them in paint & water.  It's sort of like a big water-fight, but with colour involved.  It happens around the time of the full moon in March & celebrates the start of summer. I'm meant to be getting on a sleeper bus back to Gadag tonight, but I'm still waiting for some fabric & button samples to arrive so I think I might stay another day here - Holi sounds much to much fun to miss!
